There is so much to experience at our after-school care (BSO) in this former Maria monastery, which still has stained glass windows and a beautiful reception hall. It offers plenty of coziness and homeliness, even in the attic where the BSO is located. The children really unwind at our BSO after a long day at school.
From our studio come the most creative crafts and drawings. We adapt the materials to the children’s world, so new things are always being created, keeping it challenging. We work with a planning board; all play areas can be found on it. From the building mat with LEGO, Kapla, and Playmobil to our home corner with a real wooden house in the middle of the BSO. In the lab, the older children at the BSO can work independently on various experiments and games designed for the 7+ age group. During the holidays, we go out and have a daily activity plan. This can include going to the forest, visiting Wolfslaar petting zoo, or a workshop on location. We also take the children shopping or cook or bake something; everything is covered during the holidays.
Our park-like monastery garden is an oasis of tranquility. Ideal for picnicking, and of course, the children can play, build tents, and climb trees. There is also a sandbox with a water pump and a driveway where they can play soccer. Kindergarden Breda zuid is located near the highways to Utrecht and Tilburg.

Library
Time out. A bit of me-time, quietly reading a magazine or book, because there’s a huge choice; from picture books to reading books. Many children climb on the sofa to read a Donald Duck magazine in the afternoon.

Various corners
Children have different interests, which is why we’ve set up various corners. We have a real stage with puppet theater, large and small building corners and even a ceiling-high wooden playhouse including a large kitchen and washing machine.

Huge monastery garden
Playing outdoors isn’t only healthy for children, they tend to learn and play differently than indoors. Our huge garden enables the children to let off steam after school, playing games including soccer, badminton, or softball.

Themed week during vacations
We produce a unique vacation schedule every vacation period with our own activities or we ask someone to give an experiment workshop, for instance. We always offer a huge variety of different activities in our location or on trips out, such as to the playground, strawberry farm or making ice cream at the ice cream maker.
