Housed in the former, majestic Hotel Bellevue, our after-school club is a friendly and welcoming group where we give each child the space they need. We offer a mix of peace and quiet, stimulation, and lots of opportunities for kids to discover, play games, or get creative, either indoors or in our large and leafy garden.
We grow herbs in our own vegetable garden together with the children, using the fresh mint to make infused water or other herbs to put on our pizzas. We like to play in the area, which includes trips to the large local park, where we might play a game of soccer or horse around in the playground. We also love to explore the natural world right on our doorstep (what are some of the butterfly species found here?) and pick berries, nuts, and flowers as part of the “stop-and-pick” trail through the Princenhage neighborhood.
Whenever the weather permits, we eat outside at our picnic table on our covered patio, a space we also like to use for arts and crafts. During the school vacations, we set up a test container to carry out little experiments using basic objects. For our special “Knights and Castles” vacation theme, we even made castles out of cardboard boxes and did a scavenger hunt in the forest!
Well served by car and public transportation alike, our after-school club is located near the A16 highway to Rotterdam and Antwerp.

Hi, I'm Kathy Diependaal, location manager of Kindergarden Princenhage Breda. Would you like to come and take a look at our childcare location?
