Outdoors, children can fully enjoy their freedom and independence in our spacious, specially designed after-school care garden, which is adjacent to the facility. Inside, you’ll find a dedicated children’s kitchen where everything is set at a child-friendly height. Here, children learn valuable skills such as chopping, kneading, baking, and cooperation. We also teach them about healthy ingredients, working independently, and following recipes.
Situated in a child-friendly neighbourhood that includes a petting farm, this location ensures that children have a varied and enriching learning experience. Additionally, we share a communal car park where parking is completely free. Stadshoeve is a vibrant and emerging neighbourhood, and our location is right at the center of this lively area. It’s interesting to note that the site was constructed on the remains of the outer walls of Werkeren Castle, giving our childcare facility a tangible sense of history.

Creative studioHere, children can truly let their imagination and creativity run wild. We challenge them by offering a variety of materials (wood, stone, clay, paint, and for example, ecoline). So, it's not just about crafting and drawing, but also designing, shaping, building, and handicrafts.

Spacious gardenPlaying outside is not only healthy for children. Outside, children learn and play in a different way than indoors. In our large garden, children can unwind after school by, for example, playing soccer, badminton, or softball.

Kids’ kitchenA real children's kitchen where everything is adjusted to child height. Here, we teach children to cut, knead, bake, and work together. We educate them about (healthy) ingredients, working independently, and following recipes. We truly give them something for the future by teaching them new skills.

Various cornersChildren have different interests, which is why we’ve set up various corners. We have a real stage with puppet theater, large and small building corners and even a ceiling-high wooden playhouse including a large kitchen and washing machine.
