We create the program at the after-school club together with the children and always organize two activities: we invite the children to participate while also being curious about their input and ideas. We spend 15 minutes a day on discussion with the children and a supervisor, where they run through the day’s events in smaller groups and share stories with each other.
A varied program for our after-school kids
Parents like how different our after-school club is from school (thanks to the many different rooms in our building, ranging from a lab to a kids’ kitchen).
Everyone at our club loves going outdoors to play sports and games or look for interesting critters or plants in the natural world. The club organizes a whole bunch of activities during the school vacations that change all the time, as children love variety: we try out different recipes in the kids’ kitchen, take daytrips to playgrounds, grow new plants, and create our own T-shirts. Construction on the brand-new Central Park will soon be completed, with opportunities to play outdoors and use the sports facilities. You’ll find it right across the road from us and you’ll love it!
Our facility is centrally located and within walking distance of the Leidsche Rijn center. We also offer easy access to the A2 highway.

Playing outdoorsPlaying outdoors isn’t only healthy, children tend to learn and play differently indoors than they do outdoors. That’s why we’re often outside and, as we don’t have our own playground, we use places outside the after-school club and, of course, always under supervision!

Creative studioHere, children can truly let their imagination and creativity run free. We challenge them by offering a variety of materials (wood, stone, clay, paint, and for example, ecoline). So, it's not just about crafting and drawing, but also designing, shaping, building, and handicrafts.

Themed week during holidaysEvery holiday, there is a unique vacation schedule with its own activities, or someone might come to give a workshop, such as an experiment workshop. There is always a nice variety of activities at the facility and outings, such as to the playground, strawberry farm, or making ice cream at the ice cream shop.

Kids’ kitchenA real children's kitchen where everything is adjusted to child height. Here, we teach the children how to cut, knead, bake, and work together. We educate them about (healthy) ingredients, working independently, and following recipes. We truly give them something for the future by teaching them new skills.

Discovery labIn our laboratory, children can research, experiment, and discover! Through experiments, children get to know biology, physics, chemistry, and technology in a playful way.
