Offering stimulation, relaxation, and personal development, our Houten after-school care is where your child is sure to have some memorable adventures. We provide after-school care to prepare children for elementary school; this ensures they are already familiar with our team and with the parts of the building that stimulate all their areas of development by the time they start school. We provide all-under-one-roof care too, at just a one-minute walk from our daycare.
With each member of staff having their own specific talent, we offer a rich variety of activities. Playing sports, cooking, and caring for our animals are all very popular. We have a state-of-the-art soccer cage, a massive gymnasium, and a basketball court. Children regard our after-school care as a social club they love to attend. They get to help put together the activity program and connect with each other through shared interests and a love of extracurricular activities – all of which makes for a very positive and welcoming environment.
During the Kids’ Meeting, children learn to make decisions, speak in public, and explain their standpoint. They will share their opinion or give advice on what to do in the upcoming summer vacation: which may involve anything from building a new insect hotel to using old pallets to construct a hut to having a scavenger hunt through the bamboo forest.

Easy to reach by car and public transportation, our after-school care is located near the A27 highway.
Please note! Because the daycare location (Kindergaren Draaibrug) is within walking distance, our preschoolers go to Kindergaren Tuibrug for care in preparation for elementary school. This way, they become familiar with the team and the location, which facilitates a smooth transition to the school period.

StudioThe children can really give a free rein to their fantasy and creativity here. We challenge them by offering many different types of materials (wood, bricks, clay, paint, and such things as Ecoline). So they’re not only doing crafts and drawing but also designing, building, and handcrafts.

How? Like this! LabInvestigating, experimenting, and discovering; it’s all possible in our laboratory! Children can immerse themselves in biology, physics, chemistry, and technology by doing experiments.

Kids’ kitchenWe have a real Kids’ kitchen that’s been adapted for a child’s height. The children learn chopping, kneading, baking, and working together here. We teach them all about healthy ingredients, working independently and following recipes.

Discovery gardenOur challenging after-school club garden challenges the children in various ways. Enjoy playing soccer in the soccer cage? Or what about a bit of basketball? Or today, there is a choice to garden in our picking and/or vegetable garden? They could also choose the slide, bowl swing or tumble bars.
