A Second Home
"Like stepping into a fairy tale – is there a spot available?" This is often how parents react after a tour. We do everything we can to provide your child with a second home at our daycare. It starts with the loving attention and care from our pedagogical staff. Naturally, they challenge your child to explore and push their boundaries in a safe and nurturing environment.
Music Lessons, Toddler Yoga, and More!
Experiencing musical rituals, such as singing a song before bedtime, gives younger children a sense of trust and predictability. Our music lessons help them make contact and are good for language development. Thanks to our toddler yoga, we develop good movement habits and practice balance. Outside, children enjoy our large, green garden with many trees. The toddlers and preschoolers ride scooters and bikes along the paths. In our vegetable garden, we plant, care for, and harvest herbs, strawberries, and radishes, which we enjoy eating when we're lucky. For the babies, we have a fenced-off section of the garden, including a sandbox, where they can safely be outside in the summer.
Interactive Movement Program
In the toddler groups and for the oldest toddlers, we offer the interactive movement program "Friends call me Jim." Friends call me Jim is a movement program for children aged 2 and 3, with daily short lessons. The lessons are specially designed to create and enjoy movement. Jim Movebooks are digital movement books where children learn motor skills such as jumping, catching, balancing, and running. Children are taken into a fantasy world, the Jim world. The movement activities are wrapped in an exciting story with the Jims as the main characters. The stories are supported by music, illustrations, and materials.
Our location is in the child-friendly Koninginnebuurt on the edge of Heemstede and is on the route to the A9. You can park for free and easily.

Playing in the baby gardenIn our baby garden, the babies safely enjoy the fresh air in their own enclosed garden. Meanwhile, the older children can have fun playing in the sandbox or racing on the small bikes or go-karts.

Special toddler activitiesFor the toddlers, we often deliberately split the group. This allows us to cater to the different developmental stages of the children. We do this with the oldest toddlers (3+) to prepare them for primary school.

Adventurous gardenOur large green garden with shaded areas really invites children to explore and play. Everything is designed to encourage a child to discover in our adventurous garden.

Music lessonsWe offer our toddlers music lessons. It’s especially important for the youngest children, as music helps them interact socially and builds confidence.

Yoga for little onesMovement is important, which is why we do baby, toddler, and preschool yoga every week. This helps develop good movement habits, balance, and both fine and gross motor skills. They love it!
